Darryl D. Lucke was appointed to the Regina Public Library Board in April 2004.

Darryl was born in Regina, and has lived in Regina for all but six years of his life when he was away to attend university. After he completed his Bachelor of Arts (Honours Psychology) at the University of Waterloo in 1997, he attended the University of Saskatchewan, where he earned his Bachelor of Laws in 2000.

Access to information and equity are important factors in Darryl's life. Immediately upon finishing law school, Darryl set up a bursary awarded annually based on need to a law student. Another project Darryl is involved with is The Boys and Girls Clubs of Regina. Darryl is one of the founding directors of The Boys and Girls Clubs of Regina which currently provides after school programming for inner city children as an option to less structured and unsupervised leisure time.
