Board Members
Shelley Monson was appointed to the Regina Public Library board in June 2004. She is committed to the Library's principle of access for all and supports the important role the Library plays in the city's social, economic, and social growth.
Shelley has a Bachelor of Administration from the University of Regina, plus a wide variety of adult learning. She is currently an Instructor at SIAST in the Business program, and previously held various management positions with a major Saskatchewan crown corporation. Her Board experience includes two three-year terms with the YWCA, including two years on the Governance Committee. She continues to work with this non-profit organization on an ad hoc basis. Throughout her life, Shelley has been actively involved as a volunteer and contributor to a wide variety of community programs and functions.
Shelley is married with four children and six grandchildren.
