Breaking news! Library patron can now access ConsumerReports.org remotely instead of having to go to the nearest branch so staff can log you in. From the convenience of your home, users can now access Consumer Report's ratings and reviews, recommendations and buying advice. The site also offers brand reliability and user reviews, plus news, blogs, forums and video content.
Access to this resource is free and requires a valid up-to-date library card. To log in, go to the library's website, http://www.reginalibrary.ca, and click on the tab "E-Library Services". The Consumer Reports Online database is located under "Consumer Information."
The Saskatchewan Book Awards (SBA) has launched a new website at http://www.bookawards.sk.ca.
The new website features information about the SBA, a list of past winners, information about how to nominate titles, an up-to-date calendar of events, and even an donation area for those who wish to contribute to the SBA financially.
