1. Why is my library card number not working?

The full number on the library card must be typed in with no spaces. If you are still having problems, it could be that your library card has expired or that you are using the wrong PIN. To renew your card, telephone (306) 777-6022, or visit any library location and bring one piece of ID and your library card to double check your PIN.

2. I keep getting the message, "A Server Error Has Occurred". What should I do?

This message occurs when remote access is unavailable either due to maintenance or some sort of service interruption. If you encounter this message, please report it to the library.

3. What information do you need when I report a problem?

The more information you can give us, the faster we will be able to solve the problem. When you report a problem make sure you include:
  • The browser version you are using (e.g. Internet Explorer 6.0 or Firefox 1.0.6). You can find this information by clicking on the "Help" button and then selecting "About."
  • The operating system you are using (i.e. Windows Vista)
  • The database you are trying to access
  • Any error messages you receive
4. I can log in to the databases, but after that I don't know what to do. Is there anyone who can help me use them?

If you aren't sure how to use a database, contact a librarian for help. We also have an online demo that can help you in the use of our databases.
