How do I renew items?

Most items may be renewed 2 times if they are not requested by another patron, or have exceeded their renewal limit. To renew items, you can:

  • Call toll free in Canada at 1-855-980-SILS (7457).
  • Log in to your Library account and renew your item(s) online. After logging in, click on "x item currently checked out” underneath your contact information. A list of items currently checked out on your card will appear. To renew items, click in the checkbox adjacent to the title(s) you wish to renew, and click on the "Renew Selected" button.
  • Present your Library card at any RPL location or Saskatchewan Public Library.
  • Call any RPL location or Saskatchewan Public Library and provide your Library card number.
Interlibrary Loan Requests

If you wish to renew your interlibrary loan, please contact the Interlibrary Loan Unit at 306-777-6111 during regular business hours before the item is due.
