The Library is a treasure trove of books, music, toys and so much more! There is something for every child, and every parent. When you visit us, you can expect to find:

The Central Children's Library has one Internet workstation that can be booked. Children may book this computer at all times during school vacations and summer months, and during the following times during the school year:
Monday to Friday: 4:00pm - 9:00pm
Saturday: 9:30am - 5:00pm
Sunday: 1:30pm - 5:00pm
The Library also has three first-come, first-serve Internet workstations. Please remember that to use the Library's computers, you will need to use your Library card to log on.

Come and check out Central Children's two new touch screen Early Literacy Stations!
These special computers are designed for children ages 2 to 8 and feature fun and educational programs across seven different curriculum areas ranging from science to reading.
Some of the programs include La Casa de Dora, Reader Rabbit and Sesame Street. Children can also use the ELF Browser to access safe, kid-friendly websites, such as PBS Kids and National Geographic Kids.
Children also have access to our very popular Tumblebooks and Scholastic Bookflix programs. It really is hard to peel kids away from these things!

We provide special services to teachers, daycare centres and nursery schools that include book blocks, class visits, and special storytime programs.

The Central Children's Library offers a wide variety of programs for children of all ages. They include:

The Central Children's Library is located in downtown Regina, on 12th Avenue between Lorne and Smith Street. It is on the lower level of the Library building.
