Bernadette Wagner is a poet, essayist, and, editor whose work has been published in books and magazines, on radio and tv, in film and online. Her poetry collections appeared on Sask Book Awards shortlists and an excerpt from her writing about Hiroshima tied as runner-up for the 2020 City of Regina Writing Award. Judges, J. Jill Robinson and Jordan Abel, said, "The work... is bold, difficult, and necessary... This is excellent work."
