Anthropology of the Discard
Description
Fascinated by the wall of Value Village where discarded objects hang in plastic bags, Dr. Kathryn Ricketts has collected many ‘bulging’ bags and uses them to launch compelling new narratives.
Additional Information
This presentation in the Creation Cube illuminates the agency of objects as triggers for performative storytelling. Visit and participate to this ongoing project as you design your own narratives with new bags added to the wall. See related workshops such as Bulging Bag Story and Performing the Bulging Bag Story.
