Harm Reduction and Naloxone Training with YWCA Regina


Join Melissa Burdon to discover the signs, symptoms, and responses of opioid poisonings. All participants will be provided a free naloxone kit and naloxone training certification upon completion.

Presenter Bio: Melissa Burdon is a Harm Reduction Educator working with the YWCA Regina. She primarily works with women and gender-diverse folks who face homelessness and addiction. In addition to one-on-one support, Melissa provides harm reduction education and Naloxone Training to community members, local non-profits, and YWCA staff and residents. Her specializations include community-led harm reduction strategies and women-centered addiction treatment. 

This program is offered as part of our Caring For Community programming initiative.
