Reconciliation through Treaty Awareness and Cultural Understanding

Please join Regina Public Library in welcoming Aaron Tootoosis from the Office of the Treaty Commissioner Speakers’ Bureau for a timely conversation on Fulfilling the Spirit and Intent of Treaty: Reconciliation through Treaty Awareness and Cultural Understanding. He will be joining us from 7-8:30 PM on Thursday, October 3rd at mâmawêyatitân centre, in the Albert Branch Library Program Room.

Aaron is from Poundmaker Cree Nation in Treaty 6, and will share his personal experiences and expertise on Cree culture and history with us. He welcomes questions, so come prepared to reflect and contribute! We are honoured with work with OTC to facilitate a respectful multicultural dialogue that will enhance your understanding of how Saskatchewan’s treaty history impacts our collective path toward Truth and Reconciliation.

Light refreshments will be served.
