Artist Works for Libraries

Artist Works is now only available through the Libby app provided by OverDrive.  It is located under Extras on the Libby home page.

Artist Works provides music and art lessons by world class instructors through step-by-step video tutorials. Instruction is self-paced from beginner to advanced levels. Get unlimited 24/7 access on your desktop or mobile device through any internet browser. Popular instruments include:

  • String (banjo, fiddle / violin, guitar / bass guitar, mandolin and ukulele)
  • Wind (clarinet, flute, French horn, harmonica and trumpet)
  • Piano
  • Drums
  • Even learn to sing!

This resource is funded by Sun Life Financial and partners with the Sun Life Financial Musical Instrument Lending Library at Regina Public Library. Borrow musical instruments for free at Central Library and Sherwood Village Branch.
 

Getting Started

WITH THE LIBBY APP:

  • Download the Libby app onto your mobile device and search for Regina Public Library and add Saskatchewan Library Consortium.
  • Choose your location (Regina Public Library) and enter your Library card number and PIN.
  • The Libby app is available through AppleGoogle Play, and Microsoft. See Libby’s Help page here for complete information.
  • Libby is also available in your web browser at libbyapp.com (using Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge).

Artist Works is a third-party service that is governed by the privacy policy and practices of its parent company Overdrive (Libby), not the Library’s. We advise that you consult their Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
