cloudLibrary is an innovative way to browse and borrow popular fiction and non-fiction eBooks and eaudiobooks from Regina Public Library!
Regina Public Library (RPL) customers may check out 10 titles at a time for up to 21 days for each title.
Customers can have up to ten titles on hold at a time. You will receive an email notification when a title you placed on hold becomes available. Once the email is sent, you’ll have 5 days to borrow the title before your hold is cancelled.
cloudLibrary does not allow renewals. However, if there are no holds on a title you can check it out again once it has been returned to the collection.
Although cloudLibrary will allow you to generate an Adobe ID for use with the cloudLibrary service, Regina Public Library strongly recommends that customers use their own Adobe ID if they already have one from using other library eBook programs.
Customers that do not have an existing Adobe ID should not allow cloudLibrary to automatically create one but should instead create a personal one on Adobe’s web site and then select “Explicitly provide an Adobe ID” when prompted by cloudLibrary.
cloudLibrary supports a large number of devices but RPL customers are responsible for ensuring that their particular computer, tablet, smartphone or eReader is compatible with cloudLibrary and should consult the vendor’s documentation. Compatible apps are also available from the vendor’s site.
Device and app support from library staff is limited due to the large number of possible devices available.
Full support and a constantly updated list of FAQs for all these features is available from the cloudLibrary Help Centre.
If you need to renew your library card or reset your PIN, please contact our staff.
Staff can also provide basic assistance with the service.
