Lynda is upgrading to LinkedIn Learning!

What you need to know:

  • We’re upgrading on April 22.
  • Lynda will be offline for up to 24 hours while we upgrade.
  • During the outage, all Lynda content will be moved over to LinkedIn Learning.
  • You won’t lose any content from courses you’re working on now, or that you’ve already finished.
  • Access LinkedIn Learning using your library card number and PIN – you won’t need a LinkedIn account.


  1. Click the GO button at the top of this page.
  2. Enter your library card number and PIN when prompted.
  3. You may be asked to create an account by providing an email address and password to track your learning and save your course progress. 
  4. Browse course categories by selecting the dropdown Library menu along the top of the screen, or use the search bar.
  5. There is no registration required for courses. Simply select a course for instant access and to view its Table of Contents, Exercise Files, Author and FAQs.

How do I use the Lynda App?

There is a tutorial on this page if you decide to use the Lynda app or follow these steps:

  1. Download the Lynda app from the app store.
  2. Choose Already a Lynda Member?
  3. Select the Organization tab.
  4. In the Web Portal field, enter and select Log In.
  5. You will then be asked to enter your library card number and PIN.
  6. Once verified, you will be asked if you would like to open the app. Select yes.

    NOTE: RPL’s Lynda subscription does not support offline downloading of content.
