Service Updates

Limited services at Sherwood Village Branch: Nov 18-25

We’re updating our Sherwood Village branch with fresh paint, flooring, shelving and more. Work began in September and is expected to continue until Nov. 25.

The branch is open, but you will experience some disruption and noise when visiting.

Help us out by keeping your items until the work is done! Limited space and services will be available from November 18-25:

  • Popular Picks
  • Self-check station
  • Curbside and in-branch holds pick-up
  • Public computer and WiFi access
  • Printing and photocopying
  • Dunlop Art Exhibition – bibliobandido: Marisa Morán Jahn
  • Storytimes are temporarily cancelled

Thanks for your patience as we work to refresh our space.

Central Library Renewal Reports

Print copies of the collected Central Library Renewal reports from 2009-2022 are now available to borrow, for members of the public who don’t have digital access or prefer to review documents in print.

There are two Central Library Renewal binders available. Each binder contains copies of all the reports found on our Central Library Renewal website. Binders can be borrowed for up to 7 days, with no renewals, and are only available at Central Library.

Visit our online catalogue to check availability or place a hold; or stop in at Central Library to borrow a binder.

Living with COVID-19

On February 28, 2022, the Government of Saskatchewan removed public health orders that require masking in indoor public spaces.

  • Staff and customers aren't required to wear masks in library, Dunlop Art Gallery, or RPL Film Theatre spaces.
  • Proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test is no longer needed to enter the RPL Film Theatre.
  • We will continue to provide masks for anyone who would like to wear one.

Living with COVID-19 means assessing your own personal risk and using available preventative measures to reduce risk to yourself and those you care for.

While no longer required, voluntary masking, social distancing, hand-sanitization, and self-testing can help reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 in our community.

Information on self-monitoring, self-isolating and self-managing is available at
