This is an in-person program suitable for all ages— teens and adults are welcome. No prior experience with clay is required. Spaces are limited, so register to secure your spot!

In this fun and hands-on program, participants will create their very own air-dry clay snowman using simple sculpting techniques. Participants will learn how to work with air-dry clay by practising basic methods such as pinching, coiling, and joining pieces together. Each participant will shape their snowman from scratch, adding fun details like buttons, scarves, and faces. This workshop is perfect for encouraging creativity and fine motor skills as the snowmen come to life! No prior experience with clay is needed.

Artist Bio:
Patrick Schentag is a ceramic artist from Regina, Saskatchewan, specializing in wheel-thrown functional pottery that emphasizes simplicity and utility. He is passionate about atmospheric firing, working with wood and soda kilns, and exploring surface design through graphic glaze patterns, slip, and experimental firing techniques.
