Gale Courses offers a wide range of highly interactive, instructor led courses that you can take entirely online.
As a Regina Public Library customer, you are entitled to these courses at no cost. Courses run for six weeks and new sessions begin every month.
Course categories include:
Visit Gale Courses on the web and enter your library card number and PIN
Browse course categories on the left of your screen, or use the search bar. Click “Enroll Now” next to the course of your choice
Select your course start date and click “Continue”
Create a free Gale Courses account, or sign in to an existing ed2go account
When asked for payment, enter your RPL card number and click “Use Library Card” to complete your enrollment
You only need to create an account the first time you enroll. After that, you can sign in as a returning student
Unless otherwise specified, all courses run for 6 weeks. Each course is divided into two classes: Week 1 and Week 2.
If you don’t visit the Week 2 class of your courses within 13 days, you will be automatically dropped. If you need to be dropped earlier, staff can assist you.
You must remain active in your courses in order to stay enrolled. Students who do not access the Week 1 and Week 2 classes of a course within 13 days of the start date will be automatically dropped from their courses.
Yes. If you are dropped from a course, you can enroll in other sessions at a later date.
Each course, and related class, has a dedicated discussion area. If you need help, post your question in the appropriate discussion area, and the instructor, teaching assistant or one of your fellow students will respond.
No. You can take a course as many times as you need to complete it.
No. You can take as many courses as you like.
