We’re proud to help more people access meaningful services by hosting community partners at the library. You’re welcome to attend these free drop-in sessions even if you don't have a library card.

Food Boxes

Good Food Box by REACH

Affordable and nutritious food boxes can be ordered and picked up at Sherwood Village, Sunrise, George Bothwell, Glen Elm, and Regent Place branches.

  • Good Food Boxes are available to anyone and can help you save up to 50% off your produce bill.
  • Orders can be placed every two weeks.
  • Place your order at a participating branch or through the REACH website.

Free Counselling

Thrive Rapid-Access Counselling by Family Service Regina

Need to talk? Free, immediate counselling is now available at multiple RPL locations. These one-on-one sessions provide free mental health support for anyone living in Saskatchewan.

  • Family Service Regina counsellors are on site at RPL for 60-minute conversations to help with concerns like anxiety, depression, addictions, stress, grief, relationship conflict, parenting, and other life challenges.
  • Walk-in and appointment sessions are in person at multiple library locations.

Free Family Law Clinic

Pro Bono Law Saskatchewan

Need help with court forms, processes, or questions for family law concerns like applying for child support, custody, or divorce? Get legal information from a Pro Bono Law volunteer lawyer who can point you in the right direction, and to understand if you are eligible for the free legal advice service that Pro Bono Law Saskatchewan also offers.

Need help finding legal information? Law Society of Saskatchewan librarian, Alan Kilpatrick, will be on site to help guide you through the many legal resources available. Gain understanding of your options and get referrals to legal assistance organizations in the province who can help with your concerns.  

Library Outreach and Crisis Workers

Family Service Regina 

Need to improve the quality of your life? Get support from Family Service Regina social workers at the library, who can help with crisis intervention, form support, brief counselling services, accessing community resources, and navigating systems related to housing, employment, education, food, mental health, and more.  

  • Appointments are free. 
  • The Library Outreach and Crisis Workers office is located in the Community Commons at Central Library. 
  • Get more information and service hours from library staff in person or on the RPL Hotline at 306-777-6000. 
  • Drop in or book an appointment.
