Intermediate Knitting: Make a Toque

Description

Join Angels 4 Warmth volunteers to knit a two-needle toque with pattern and edge variations, shaping for the crown, stitching of the seam, and weaving in ends. Bring 5 mm knitting needles and yarn.

Additional Information

This is a registered program. Please plan to attend all sessions. This program is intended for knitters with some previous experience. Participants should know how to cast on stitches, knit and purl, and cast off.

Angels 4 Warmth will provide patterns and samples. Participants should bring size 5 mm knitting needles and one 100-gram ball of worsted-weight yarn to make one toque. Choose your own colour.

This is not a beginner-friendly class. After the program, attendees are welcome to stay for Stitch, Make & Chat (2–4 pm) to practice and socialize with experienced knitters and crocheters.
