HauntedWeen is the DIY masterpiece and singular feature film directed by W.M. Doug Robertson. Self-released straight to VHS in 1991 and filmed with 16mm on location at Bowling Green, Kentucky, the film features and impressive cast and crew of local talent, some of them students of the WKU film program.

HauntedWeen sets its audience up for a possible homage or parody of John Carpenter's Halloween from 1978, revealing instead a cornucopia of innovative and ingenious twists and turns on the tropes of the exhausted sub-genre of the slasher.
