Sara Williams: Retired as the horticultural specialist of the University of Saskatchewan, Sara Williams is author of many gardening books including Creating the Prairie Xeriscape and (with Bob Bors) Growing Fruit in Northern Gardens.  She has led garden tours of England, Scotland, Ireland and Europe. Sara developed her first garden in the 1960s in the school courtyard in Tanzania in East Africa where she was a volunteer teacher.  She now gardens on 5 acres of land near Saskatoon.
