You will learn how to make a few different styles of wool beads by the process of wet felting. With your felt beads and a selection of other beads of various sizes and styles, you will assemble and create your own one-of-a-kind necklace.

Recommended Materials: wool, large sewing needle, ribbon or leather string, beads, wooden dowel or thick drinking straw, towel, bowl/container, dishsoap, sharp scissors, access to hot and cold water. If you already have the recommended materials, great! If you need the materials, please contact spitman@reginalibrary.ca by Wednesday December 1st to pick up a free materials kit. Materials kits are only available for residents based in Regina SK. Please note that the towel, bowl, soap, scissors, and water will not be included in the kits available for pickup.
