Kylie Fineday is an emerging multi-disciplinary nehiyaw (Cree) artist and curator from Sweetgrass First Nation, SK. Her art practice focuses on themes of identity and family, as well as addressing social issues and injustices, particularly those affecting Indigenous people in Canada. She recently completed her BFA at the University of Lethbridge with great distinction and is the 2020 recipient of the Faculty of Fine Arts Gold Medal. She has exhibited her work in various institutions in Lethbridge, Alberta, and has also worked on various curatorial projects within the community.
