Description

Join Dr. Ryan Fisher to learn some simple tips and tricks in identifying local birds. Discover how to correctly identify these feathered friends by using their size, colour, shape, and behaviours.

Ryan Fisher is an avid birder, professional ornithologist and the current Curator of Vertebrate Zoology at the Royal Saskatchewan. Ryan has conducted research on various Saskatchewan birds for the last 20 years, including Burrowing Owls, Sharp-tailed Grouse, Northern Flickers, and Sprague’s Pipits. In his free time, you can find him running around the countryside with a trusty pair of binoculars looking for his favourite birds.
