Stay in your own home and community. Communities need your ongoing involvement as an older adult. What might a Home Supports program look like in Saskatchewan and how can we make it happen?

Dates: The program runs Mondays, on March (6th,13th, 20th and 27th), April( 3rd, 17th, and 24th), and May( 1st,8th,15th and 29th) from 2:00 PM-3:00 PM. We encourage you to join us in all the sessions

Armchair Learner allows you to gain a new perspective on different topics from the comfort of your own home. Armchair learner is designed for those who want to continue lifelong learning and for those who want to fantasize about the what if's and the why is that?

Presenter Information: Holly SchickHolly grew up in Lemberg, Saskatchewan. She attended university in Saskatoon and Regina. Much of her working career has been as ministry personnel in the United Church where she had the opportunity to live and work in a number of communities throughout Saskatchewan. Looking for an opportunity to do something different resulted in her accepting the position of Executive Director of the Saskatchewan Seniors Mechanism in 2009. Working on projects and programs that allow various groups to collaborate, address issues and build a positive view of older adults are some of the things that she enjoys about her work. Some other interests include genealogy, playing bridge, theatre, and spending time with family and friends
