In this performance, Ob Neckbonani (Neckbone Wonder Woman, performed by Cree, Mi’kmaq, and Métis multidisciplinary artist Julianne Beaudin-Herney) addresses the attempted genocide of the Buffalo on the Plains and the subsequent use of cattle to prepare traditional foods like neckbone soup. Neckbone Wonder Woman’s superpowers are cultural advocacy and speaking truth to power. Please note that the second performance takes place within Fan Expo Regina; event admission applies.
