Dunlop Art Gallery is proud to announce the opening of the new exhibition Processes of Remediation by celebrated artist Alana Bartol. This exhibition draws on Bartol’s work with dowsing, as well as its history in mining and resource extraction. In her artwork, Bartol uses dowsing to ask audiences to reconsider consumption-driven relationships to the earth and to what are known as 'natural resources.’ This exhibition was developed by Bartol at the University of Lethbridge Art Gallery in response to the recent controversy over open pit mining in southern Alberta.
