Maniac: A madman impersonates a doctor, with horrific results. Metropolis: The story of a 21st century city run by a "super trustee" and his collaborators who live in a paradise-like garden. Workers are totally enslaved by machines and condemned to live underground. In the midst of this misery, a young woman, Maria, arises and attempts to inspire the workers to throw off their oppressors. The vampire bat: When bloodless corpses begin appearing in a sleepy German village, superstitious tonwspeople believe the local fool has human vampires doing evilbidding for him. The real culprit is a diabolical scientist who needs human blood for his fiendish experiments. The ape: A horror shocker about a mad doctor (Boris Karloff) who discovers a cure for polio that requires a spinal fluid from human beings. Karloff goes on killing and experimenting in a race to save a girl's life. The monster maker: In order to wed a famous pianist's daughter, an evil doctor blackmails the father by inoculating him with a drug to induce acromegaly.
