Amy can't figure out how Daniel can have so much love for his horse, yet be so cold to everyone else. As she gets to know him better, she comes to understand and respect that he won't give in to the spectacle of the show circuit and doesn't care what others say about his horse. Daniel rides Amber like it's the two of them against the world and Amy wants to help them conquer it.
