'Cool Cat' is the Story of Nova, who doesn't tell her mom about her secret Instagram, which becomes a problem when a video of her cat goes viral. As in Jazz Taylor's other Wish novels, there is a gently introduced and very normalized queer element in the story, this being with Nova's crush on Lily.
