Eight-year-old Cocó doesn't fit into the expectations of others and doesn't understand why. Everyone around him insists on calling him Aitor but he does not recognize himself in that name or in the eyes of others. His mother Ane, mired in a professional and sentimental crisis, takes advantage of the holidays to travel with her three children to her mother's house, where her mother Lita and her aunt Lourdes live, closely linked to bee breeding and honey production. This life-changing summer will force these women from three very different generations to confront their doubts and fears.
