Blight County Sheriff Bo Tully is following up on one of his famous hunches: he suspects the murder of a local retiree by his ranch caretaker, a sociopath with a criminal record. But Tully has no evidence or body to prove that a crime has been committed. Then a far more alarming case emerges. Three unidentified young men have been shot, execution-style, in a huckleberry patch on Scotchman Mountain. With the help of beautiful FBI agent Angela Phelps, Tully tries to piece together the puzzle of who is doing the killing and why.
