Wendy Peart
Wendy Peart is the Director/Curator of Dunlop Art Gallery where she provides leadership across all facets of the Dunlop's operations. Along with curating dynamic exhibitions at both galleries at Central Library and Sherwood Village Branch, she oversees Dunlop's educational programming, stewardship of RPL Permanent Collection, and outreach and partnership initiatives.
Wendy holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (studio) and Bachelor of Arts (Art History) from University of Regina, as well as a Master of Fine Arts from University of Victoria. She brings a rich background as a practising artist and arts educator. Her previous experience includes teaching in a variety of settings, such as the University of Regina’s Faculty of Media, Art, and Performance (Department of Visual Arts), Learning Through the Arts, and the Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre in Regina.
Wendy loves gardening, beekeeping, knitting, and painting. She finds inspiration and life lessons in the quiet determination required to complete a challenging puzzle, reflecting a patient and creative approach to both work and life.
