This event takes place on the mezzanine located on the 2nd floor of Central library. Drop-in, no registration required. Everyone is welcome.

In October, get ready for a special Bandura music concert featuring Iryna Levchenko and special guests.

Iryna Levchenko is a professional musician and bandura teacher. In Ukraine, she worked for 20 years in the National Orchestra of Folk Instruments in Kyiv and also taught at a music school. She started playing the bandura at the age of 9. She moved to Canada in July 2022 after the start of the war in Ukraine .In February 2024, a group of women from Moose Jaw helped purchase a bandura. Now there is an opportunity to perform and introduce audiences to the national Ukrainian instrument bandura and Ukrainian music.
