Access to Justice Week: Law Fair

Join RPL, the Law Society of Sask, and Pro Bono Law Sask for an afternoon celebrating Access to Justice Week. This afternoon event includes presentations, a trade show, and free family law clinics!Additional Information
This is a drop in program taking place at Central Library. No registration is required to attend.
Representatives from the Law Society of Saskatchewan, Pro Bono Law Saskatchewan, and the Regina Public Library have organized this event, which aims to:
- Connect community members with free legal knowledge, legal information assistance, legal assistance/advice services, and government agencies.
- Broaden public awareness of legal rights and responsibilities and ways of obtaining legal information & assistance.
This event will feature education sessions on common areas of law, in addition to hosting free family law clinics in The Commons, and hosting a tradeshow on our mezzanine (featuring relevant local and provincial organizations).
Presentations:
- The Rights and Responsibilities of Landlords and Tenants in Saskatchewan – Diana Lumbala (Office of Residential Tenancies or ORT) – 11am
- Wills/Estates/Guardianship – Aadon Fieger, McDougall Gauley LLP - 12pm
- Understanding Small Claims Court – Logan Salm, OWZW – 1pm
- Who to Call When You Have an Employment Problem – Lindsay Hjorth, GRJ – 2pm
- Understanding Employment Standards – Brent Young, Ministry of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety – 3 pm
