Join visiting artist Patrick Kyle as he discusses how a working philosophy coined by Chicago Imagist Barbara Rossi, “Working Without a Predetermined End”, has helped him sustain a career in commercial art, illustration and the world of comics over the past 15 years.
Patrick Kyle lives in Toronto, Canada, where he works as a commercial illustrator, visual artist, cartoonist and educator. Patrick’s comics have been published in Canada by Koyama Press, and Internationally with Breakdown Press, Strane Dizioni and Frémok. His most recent graphic novel, "Baby" was published by Breakdown Press in 2023. He teaches illustration and comics at OCADU in Toronto, and online at LABASAD.
This event takes place on the 2nd floor mezzanine at Regina Public Library's Central Branch and is presented as part of Regina Comic Arts Festival.
