This program is being presented by Regina Public Library, in partnership with Regina Public Schools and Regina Catholic Schools to celebrate Saskatchewan Aboriginal Storytelling Month.

Sharon Meyer is a treaty status member of Treaty Six, Beardy’s and Okemasis Cree First Nation. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and teachings regarding personal childhood, adult, and cultural experiences. Sharon is a medicine wheel knowledge keeper and a storyteller. She is also a Blanket Exercise facilitator. For thirty-two years Sharon served in various roles in the field of education: classroom teacher, principal, and administrator in the provincial and federal education system. She has also served as a First Nations, Metis, and Inuit Education consultant for the North East School Division. Sharon is a representative for the Office of the Treaty Commissioner Speakers Bureau.
