EAL Public Speaking for Beginners
Description
Improve your English language fluency and build public speaking confidence. All EAL learners are welcome, but CLB level 5 is suggested. Register with Literacy Services to receive important updates.Additional Information
This is an in-person program for adult EAL learners.
EAL Public Speaking for Beginners occurs on the following Saturdays:
March 7 (Topic: Sharing ideas so everyone understands)
March 14 (Topic: How your audience affects you)
March 21 (Topic: Feeling safe to speak)
March 28 (Topic: Organizing your ideas)
April 11 (Topic: Planning you message)
April 18 (Topic: Spending your audience's energy)
May 2 (Topic: Building trust and credibility)
May 9 (Topic: Presenting what really matters)
May 23 (Topic: Adapting to what's happening around you)
May 30 (Topic: Audience interaction and participation)
