The Retirement Reality Check: Are You Truly Prepared?
Description
Is your retirement funded? Government benefits aren't enough. Learn proactive strategies to build a secure future using TFSAs, RRSPs, pensions, and smart investments.Additional Information
Are you confident that your savings will deliver the retirement lifestyle you envision? While public benefits such as Canada Pension Plan (CPP) and Old Age Security (OAS) provide an important foundation, they are only a starting point. Presented by a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), this essential financial literacy workshop equips you with the strategies and insight needed to build a fully-rounded and secure financial future.
What You’ll Learn
- A clear framework for estimating how much you really need to save for retirement, based on your goals and lifestyle.
- How to integrate and optimise key savings vehicles — including Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Tax‑Free Savings Account (TFSA), employer pension plans, and other investment vehicles.
- An in-depth look at your future income sources — how CPP/OAS function, pension sharing, and how these blend with personal savings.
- Practical tools and actionable steps you can use today to transition from planning to proactively strengthening your retirement readiness.
Why Attend
In an era of increasing longevity and evolving tax and investment landscapes, putting together a robust retirement plan is more important than ever. This session simplifies the complexities and gives you the confidence to act — not just aspire. Whether you’re 5, 10, or 20 years away from retirement (or already in that transition), this workshop gives you the blueprint to move from uncertainty to clarity.
