This program aims to unite beaders from everywhere. It’s a safe & open space for sharing culture, ideas, & art. Join Heidi Coltman & create an orange shirt pin in solidarity with Orange Shirt Day.

Don't have an RPL card? Register on Eventbrite. 

This event takes place online on Zoom. The meeting link will be emailed to registrants prior to the program.

Recommended Materials: Orange stiff felt (Two 3x3 inch squares), orange and black seed beads size 10-12, beading needles, thread, pinback finding, glue (optional: e6000 or Gorilla Super Glue), sage/sweetgrass/tobacco for inside your pin (optional). 

If you already have the recommended materials, great! If you need the materials, please contact spitman@reginalibrary.ca by Wednesday September 30th to pick up a free materials kit. Materials kits are only available for residents based in Regina SK. Limited quantity available, on a first come first serve basis.

Heidi Coltman is a two spirit artist from a remote northern Saskatchewan community, treaty 8. She is currently a counsellor in her community, and utilizes art in her therapeutic practice.
