Presenter Information: Dela Ciocea is a multidisciplinary artist living in Regina, Saskatchewan. They’re a parent of three, and have been taking part in Disability justice activism for the last five years, since their middle child was diagnosed as autistic in 2018.

Dela, who is also autistic, or AuDHD, as people within the community with dual diagnoses sometimes say, takes on topics like inclusion, adaptations and accommodations, and tropes in art and media. They’re passionate about autistic representation and deeply believe that we’re all stronger when we consider and protect the most vulnerable among us. They believe that autistic passion, thinking and this unique sensory experience of the world have much to teach us about what it fundamentally means to be human.
