"All We Have" documents trans people's sometimes complex relationship to place in Regina, and Saskatchewan. Through interviews with her loved ones, Cat constructs a complex and tender image of what keeps here (and why we sometimes need to leave).
Cat C. Haines is an autistic and transsexual dyke, an academic|artist|activist weirdo, and the 2024 City of Regina Neil Balkwill Artist In Residence, where she produced the experimental Super 8 documentary "All We Have." In all of Cat's work, she seeks to document, with an aspiration towards archiving, her and her lovers' bodies and experiences.
Jaye Kovach is a multimedia and performance artist who lives as a white Magyar/Scots settler on Treaty 4 territory (Regina, Saskatchewan). Her work, which has received local and national attention, often engages their queer and trans community, taking as its starting point his positionality as a disabled and neurodivergent, butch trans woman.
