Spooky Storytime with Rhonda Donais

Description

Ages 10 and over with parent supervision required. Cozy up to the campfire and enjoy some spooky stories with Indigenous storyteller Rhonda Donais. Roasted marshmallows will be provided.

Additional Information

Please bring your own chairs and blankets to sit on around the campfire. 

This program is part of the People in My Neighbourhood Series which acknowledges and celebrates the diversity in our community.

Rhonda Donais lives in Regina and is a member of Ocean Man First Nation.  She has been a performer and storyteller for over 30 years.  Rhonda has participated in children’s festivals, exhibitions, and fairs.  Although she enjoys telling silly and scary stories, her favorite stories are the First Nations’ animal legends and Algonquian songs she teaches.  Rhonda likes to incorporate drum playing into her storytelling.  She is very passionate about her art.
