Join us to celebrate Chinese’s Mid-Autumn Festival. Make your own traditional Chinese lantern and learn more about the meaning, legends and cultural practices of this celebration.Additional Information
Families are welcome to join. Children must be accompanied by their parents and caregivers. Please only register the number of lanterns to be made in each family. For example, a family of four, if you only plan to make one lantern, please register for one spot.
This is an in-person program. Please, do not attend if you are feeling unwell.
Registration: Opens on August 26th 2023 at 12:00 PM.
Presenter Information: Jessica Lee moved to Regina in 2009. She spent her time in using her personal and career experience to share her cultural experiences. She received her education at City University of Hong Kong and Chinese University of Hong Kong. She worked in different industries after her graduation, in which she found her passion in teaching. She has over 5 years experience in teaching Japanese Miniature Clay. She is currently working in the public services sector in Regina, where she lives with her husband and three lovely children.
She believes in bringing people's abilities and strengths in the right area, it can strengthen our society and have a positive effect on the world, together we can build a better future. She is excited to share Chinese culture and her life experiences to everyone.
