Where stories come to life

Have some fun at the library this summer! There's lots to do and enjoy both inside and outside Central Library. Make a unique work of art, enjoy a story in the park, or listen to some live music. 

• Tune Up Saturdays: Get your bike repaired by experts from Dutch Cycle and Bike Regina.
• Storytime in the Park: Enjoy stories, songs, and rhymes with your child in Victoria Park.
• Art in the Park: Create unique works of art in Victoria Park. For all ages!
• Family-friendly films: Old favourites and new releases all summer long. 
• Drop-In Art Studio: Learn how to draw, paint, create comics, and explore your creativity in a chill and relaxed space.
• Youth Hub: Drop in to chill with other youth while playing video games, art, beading, and more! Did we mention there will be pizza?
• Meditation Yoga: Experience the peace of mental silence through guided meditation and learn techniques to balance yourself from within.
• Ukulele Workshops: Join an enthusiastic group of ukulele players to learn the basics—ukulele anatomy, simple techniques, and a few chords.
• Big Screen Video Games: Play Nintendo Switch on the RPL Film Theatre big screen: Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros. or Boomerang Fu. 
• Games and Puzzles for Families: Drop in to play a board game or put together a puzzle.
• Morning Movies and Stories: Enjoy a storytime and short films from the RPL collection with your children.
• Library Lemonade Stand: Celebrate the summer at the Library Lemonade Stand with a cool refreshment, a fun outdoor activity, and a free book! Available at all RPL locations; check for dates near you.
