You have the option to participate in this program either in-person at the Central Library in program room CE-1 on the 2nd floor or online through Zoom.

Audience: Armchair programs are designed with seniors in mind, but anyone who is interested is welcome to join!
Dates: Armchair programs run Mondays, September 11 - November 27 from 2:00 PM-3:00 PM. We encourage you to join us in all the sessions. There is no session October 9.

Presenter Information: Larry Easton has been active in photography since1972 and a member of the Regina Photo Club for forty four years and held executive positions for most of them including being Editor for the club newsletter for seventeen years. His photographic achievements in the Regina Photo Club include numerous awards including the top Prestige Award.
Larry is an active member of the Prairie Region of Photographic Arts and the Canadian Association for Photographic Arts. He been a contributing photographer and a several time writer to Saskatchewan’s Prairies North magazine. Presentations have been done at a number of senior homes and Regina library.
Much of his photography has evolved around outdoor activities while pursuing cycling, mountain hiking, and particularly canoeing and kayaking. He has organized and participated on canoe trips on most major rivers in Saskatchewan’s northern wilderness and twice canoed 300 KM on the Nahanni River, North West Territories. Larry has always had an interest in photographing prairie landscapes, old buildings and architecture.
A book titled Legacy of Stone: Saskatchewan’s Stone Buildings with photographs by Larry and His wife Dorothy, and text by Margaret Hryniuk and Frank Korvemaker was released in November 2008 and received the Saskatchewan Book of the Year Award in 2009. He and his wife also photographed churches across Saskatchewan for a second book, Legacy of Worship- Sacred Places in Rural Saskatchewan followed in 2014.
Larry was trained as an Electronics Engineering Technologist and worked in several Engineering departments with SaskTel until retirement and resides in Regina.
