library2go (OverDrive) offers best-selling and classic eBooks as well as unabridged eAudiobooks available 24 / 7 with no late fees. You can browse the collection, borrow with your library card, and enjoy on your computer, tablet, smartphone or eReader.
Regina Public Library (RPL) customers may check out 10 titles at a time for up to 21 days for each title.
Customers can have up to ten titles on hold at a time. You will receive an email notification when a title you placed on hold becomes available. Once the email is sent, you’ll have 2 days (48 hours) to borrow the title before your hold is cancelled. Or you can turn on automatic borrowing to make sure you never miss a hold.
Items can be renewed on OverDrive. Three days before a title is set to expire, a Renew link will appear on your library bookshelf next to the item.
The new Libby app is the easiest way for customers to start using library2go (Overdrive). The app is free and available for Android, iOS and Windows 10 mobile devices (search for Overdrive or Libby in your app store). Customers can log in directly with their library card numbers and start browsing without needing to create an Overdrive account or an Adobe ID. You can also use Libby to transfer eBooks to a traditional ereader like a Kobo! More information can be found on the Libby site.
Still using the original Overdrive app? Regina Public Library strongly recommends that customers use their own Adobe ID if they already have one when using library2go (OverDrive). Customers that do not have an existing Adobe ID should create one on Adobe’s web site.
library2go (OverDrive) supports a large number of devices but RPL customers are responsible for ensuring that their particular computer, tablet, smartphone or eReader is compatible with library2go (OverDrive) and should consult the vendor’s documentation.
Device and app support from library staff is limited due to the large number of possible devices available.
If you need to renew your library card or reset your PIN, please contact our staff.
Staff can also provide basic assistance with the service.
Regina Public Library is pleased to provide free access to this third-party service to customers paying taxes to or residing in the City of Regina. Members of other Saskatchewan libraries should ensure that they log in with their member library on the Library2go (OverDrive) website.
Regina Public Library customers are reminded that this is a third-party service over which Regina Public Library has no control so changes may occur without warning and customization is not always possible.
