Presenter Information: Gurpreet was born and raised in Amritsar. Gurpreet knows inside out of this city. Gurpreet lived close to Sri Harmandir Sahib (The Golden Temple) and in fact her school was just a few steps away from the Golden Temple. After her school, she completed her PhD at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Thereafter, she went on to complete her post-doctorate fellowship with the University of Guelph in ON. Later, she moved to Regina with her husband and two kids.

Today, Gurpreet will take us on a journey back to her birthplace Amritsar.  She will be sharing insights on travel to Amritsar, providing us with interesting information about main attractions of the city, street food, culture, weather, shopping and anything you would like to know about Amritsar. I am sure you will find this session both informative and enjoyable.

Let’s start our journey with Gurpreet.
