Metis Roogaroo Stories with Wilfred Burton for Grades 2-4

Description

Additional Information

The Metis Roogaroo Stories storytelling sessions was inspired by the Métis Roogaroo and Superstition Stories - a compilation of stories from members and friends of Gabriel Dumont Local 11, a Métis Local in Saskatoon. Many Metis have grown up with Roogaroo and superstition stories. Storytelling is essential to the Metis people, a traditional method of sharing knowledge from generation to generation.

This program is being presented to acknowledge Metis history, culture and traditions.

The program will be conducted through Zoom. At least one hour prior to the program, we will send you an email with the Zoom meeting ID. Please ensure that you have Zoom installed on your device or computer. If you don't have a library card, please visit https://www.reginalibrary.ca/register to register for one.
