Our girls needs empowering role models.

I was recently reading an article by the authors of The Confidence Code For Girls where they talk about girls’ self-confidence plummeting at puberty, and the effects this has on their future successes.  It got me thinking about strong role models, and the inspiring girls who are changing the world with their passion and activism.

October 11th is the United Nations’ International Day of the Girl, a day that aims to highlight and address the needs and challenges girls face, while promoting girls’ empowerment and the fulfillment of their human rights.

Celebrate the International Day of the Girl and find some great female role models with our booklist featuring strong women who have made the world a better place.
