Stressed about money?

These days, with everyday expenses on the rise it’s easy to get overwhelmed by our personal finances. There are so many things to consider: children’s educations, saving for retirement, having an emergency fund for those unexpected household expenses, even just balancing your monthly budget for groceries and bills! It’s not surprising many of us are feeling stressed out about money.

For times like this I try to gather as much helpful information as I can, so I know all my options and make sure I’m prepared to make the best financial decisions for my life.

The library has a lots of free resources to help you make the financial choices that are right for you, and these book lists are a great place to start:

November is also Financial Literacy Month at RPL, so we’re hosting a series of programs and information sessions on topics like: teaching your kids about money, insuring your mortgage, becoming an investor, and so much more.
